- Carl began his risk management career with U.S. asset managers before stints with Canadian credit unions and an energy firm. Able to wear many hats early on, he found a niche between analysis, policy and reporting. He is now focused on financial market risks at Rabobank in the Netherlands, and is an active member of the Netherlands PRMIA chapter.
Carl co-edits and occasionally writes in PRMIA’s quarterly insights publication, Intelligent Risk. His latest article, about the risks of demographic change, was stirred by a desire to understand whether we truly have a population crisis on our hands and what its impacts will be. He records a weekly podcast on risk with professor Rick Nason of Dalhousie University.
