Katie Kelly is a Senior director in the Market practice and regulatory policy team at ICMA, where she is primarily responsible for representing the interests of issuers (financial institutions, corporates and those from the supranational, sovereign and agency community) in market practice and regulatory developments in the primary bond markets.

She runs the commercial paper and certificates of deposit committee, which brings together all relevant stakeholders as the representative voice of the European and international CP and CD market.

She also founded and leads on the ICMA Women's Network, a global platform spanning 14 different regions which aims to drive progress towards gender equality and increased female representation in financial markets.

Prior to joining ICMA in 2011, Katie practiced law at Linklaters. She studied law and french in Manchester and took her professional legal exams in York.
