- Francis Lacan leads the risk management function for Wolters Kluwer’s finance, risk and regulatory reporting business and the OneSumX for risk solutions. He joined Wolters Kluwer in 2020. Francis began his career as a space research scientist, then transitioned into financial engineering and risk management roles at leading institutions including Lombard Odier, Societe Generale, and Bank of America. He also spent a few years as an entrepreneur developing and marketing Kondor+, a widely recognized treasury management and position-keeping software. Subsequently, Francis advised major financial institutions on risk management transformation at Ernst & Young and IBM, where he later led trading and risk solutions. His extensive collaboration with architects and IT specialists has provided Francis with deep expertise in risk data management and computational finance technologies, knowledge he applies to create innovative technology solutions for Wolters Kluwer’s clients.
