- David Power is a data and AI governance specialist and operational change leader with more than 20 years' experience in regulated financial services across Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has held Chief Data Officer roles and led major operational change programmes at Managing Director and Executive Director level at State Street, Credit Suisse, and Julius Baer, spanning data strategy, governance, and analytics. As Risk CDO at Credit Suisse, he led the Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting (BCBS239) programme and defined the Risk Data Strategy and Target Operating Model for the Chief Risk Office, embedding the data foundations that underpin model governance and regulatory reporting across traditional and ML-driven models. More recently, his work has focused on the intersection of data governance and AI, including the operational and ethical implications of the EU AI Act. David is an IAPP-certified AI Governance Professional and holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
