- Jacek Rzeźnik is Deputy Director of ALM Risk at mBank, one of Poland’s leading financial institutions and part of the Commerzbank Group. He serves on key risk and ALM committees, with expertise spanning balance sheet risk management, stress testing, risk governance, contingency planning, and regulatory frameworks. Founded as Poland’s first fully internet-based retail bank, mBank became a pioneer of digital banking and one of the country’s best-known challenger brands, recognised for reshaping customer experience through innovation in online and mobile banking. Today, mBank serves millions of retail and corporate clients across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, and continues to be recognised as a leader in digital financial services. Prior to joining mBank, Jacek worked at JPMorgan Chase in London as Vice President with credit authority for Emerging Markets financial institutions and sovereigns, overseeing counterparty risk assessment and credit decision-making across a broad portfolio of international clients. He holds an MSc in Management and Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Jacek is a frequent speaker at ALM and risk management conferences across Europe. Outside of work, he is a father of two boys and an enthusiastic skier and sailor, sharing both passions with his family.
