Kayode Falana

- Kayode Falana is a technology assurance and cybersecurity leader with about 20 years of experience across highly regulated industries, including telecommunications, financial services, banking, and consulting. A graduate of Electrical Engineering, he began his career in the banking sector within IT operations before transitioning into technology assurance, building a strong foundation that bridges technical depth with risk, governance, and business outcomes. He has held progressively senior roles across the second and third lines of defence, developing deep expertise in technology governance, cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience. This breadth of experience positions him as a trusted assurance leader, capable of navigating complex risk environments and delivering practical, value driven outcomes aligned with organisational and regulatory expectations. Kayode currently serves as Group Security Assurance Manager at Vodafone Group Services Limited, based in London, a role he has held since September 2021. He provides independent technology and cyber assurance across Vodafone’s European and African operations, supporting environments that serve over 300 million customers. His focus includes strengthening critical IT and cybersecurity controls, enhancing governance and risk frameworks, and advising senior leaders on regulatory readiness and cyber resilience within critical national infrastructure (CNI) contexts. Beyond his corporate role, Kayode has served as a Board Director of the ISACA London Chapter since December 2019, contributing to strategic leadership across member services, professional education, and community engagement for a community of over 5,000 professionals. He also applies insights from his MBA at Warwick Business School to promote sustainable growth, responsible innovation, and environmental stewardship, strengthening the link between secure digital infrastructure and long term resilience. Kayode holds multiple professional certifications, including CISA, CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, AAIA, CEH, SAP GRC, COBIT 5 and MIT, alongside an MBA from Warwick Business School.
