- Chris Knox is a senior regulatory and technology policy leader with over 15 years’ experience across financial services regulation and global technology governance. He is currently Global Director at Microsoft, where he works on financial services regulatory engagement, operational resilience, and cyber and technology risk policy across the UK, EU, and international markets. Previously, Chris worked at the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority, where he focused on operational resilience, ICT risk, and financial market infrastructure policy. He has extensive experience engaging with global regulators, including the FCA, Bank of England, ECB, EBA, and international standard-setting bodies, on issues relating to digital infrastructure, payments systems, and emerging technology risk. He regularly speaks on technology risk, regulatory transformation, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies in regulated industries.
