Vivien Foetz is Chief Risk Officer and member of the Executive Committee at Gulf International Bank UK, where he is responsible for the bank’s risk management framework, prudential risk oversight and regulatory engagement. Since joining the bank in 2017, Vivien has held leadership roles across banking and asset management, with responsibilities spanning risk and operations. He is responsible for key prudential processes including the ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan. Prior to joining Gulf International Bank UK, Vivien held risk and compliance roles at Amundi in Luxembourg and Invesco in the UK. Vivien studied Law and Economics and holds a Master’s degree from ICN Business School in France.
